Our Herbs: Finest Flavours, Aromas and Spices

Hostess and chef "Tina" loves it to experiment and create something new in the kitchen. Thus she is very keen to use our homegrown herbs to give the plates she creates an exciting and often new taste.

Our Herbs Philosophy

Every year nature gives us a lot of herbs. These herbs make our food better and healthier.
Apart from their well-known beneficial effects on health, many wild herbs and herbs from the garden boast unique combinations of essential oils.

Our Herbs Garden:
Because of our particular love for herbs, we were looking to create something very special.
Thus we created 10 large hollowed trunks of larch, which we placed in the shape of a star on the south side of our house and filled it with organic soil. The herbs here grow plentifully, because they like the warm sunshine that on most days makes the south side of our house an especially nice and comfortable place.
Every day we use fresh herbs form our garden in the kitchen.

Popular Mediterranean and typical South Tyrolean dishes gain a special touch through adding these fresh herbs, such as rosemary, basil, oregano, marjoram, mint, salad burnet, juniper, parsley, chives, thyme and much more.
